Account Director

StrongMail Systems is searching for an Account Director to join our Client Services Team to take responsibility for the strategic direction and profitable delivery of named StrongMail clients. Reporting to the VP Client Services, the Account Director will oversee an account team comprised of Account Managers to deliver all aspects of our client’s success.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage functional team of 3-5 personnel
  • Manage quarterly reviews and develop digital POVs for social and email marketing programs
  • Provide ongoing campaign analysis to optimize programs results and drive new program development
  • Champion the client renewal process 
  • Champion the identification, education, and promotion of additional services for the existing account
  • Provide direct line of escalation for the account personnel to resolve issues and maintain high level of customer satisfaction
  • Forecast quarterly revenue for upper management review
  • Work with cross-functional group managers as needed to ensure inter-departmental teamwork and operational efficiency
  • Facilitate team’s growth and development through hands-on training sessions
  • Inspire and motivate individual and team to overachieve consistently
  • Monitor customer satisfaction with StrongMail services and implement process improvements in services quality

Experience and Qualifications:

  • A deep understanding and passion for social and email marketing
  • 10 years of experience in advertising and marketing; at least 3 years in a similar role as the Account Director and/or Director of Strategy (leading a client and teams) 
  • Comfort working in highly flexible, entrepreneurial environment
  • Proven success working in cross functional teams 
  • Leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving
  • Ability to use own judgment and initiative in problem resolution
  • Strong project planning and management skills

Account Manager - Client Services

StrongMail Systems is searching for an Account Manager to join our Client Services Team to take responsibility for the day to day management of named StrongMail clients. Reporting to an Account Director, the Account Manager will be the primary advocate for the client.

Responsibilities:  

  • Retain, grow and develop account through daily interaction with clients; ensure contract renewal on all accounts

  • Develop call and in-person meeting cycle for existing accounts to discuss usage, options, and renewals

Enterprise Account Executive

The Enterprise Account Executive is responsible for creating, building, and extending the sales efforts to our customers. The EAE within StrongMail, is a hunter role focused primarily on enterprise grade account acquisition and winning business amidst a developed competitive landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Targeting and focusing in on the largest B2C brands in your respective territory 
  • Strategic account engagement (networking) and ability to engage in meaningful and material enterprise projects
  • Identify and quantify customer needs – building a StrongMail solution 
  • To meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets 
  • Build a plan to provide integrated software and service solutions to meet the prospects' long term needs as a strategic business partner
  • Develop a pipeline of viable opportunities that exceeds quota, and keep abreast of every prospect in your territory
  • Accurately forecast deals closing on a monthly basis using Salesforce.com
  • Negotiate access to key decision makers and facilitate meetings with StrongMail executives
  • Develop cooperative closing strategy and tactics with sales management

Experience & Education Requirements:

Successful candidates will have a background in on-demand software sales with a significant services component, as well as experience leveraging strategic relationships with external partners. Individuals must have a demonstrated sales track record developing and managing regional accounts and a proven track record of forecasting and closing typical transactions in the $250K - $1M+ range.

Strong candidates must have 5+ years of high-value software sales experience and have a "consultative" value based approach to selling.  Experience with online marketing sales and working within a fast-paced growing company environment is a plus.  In addition, candidates should have:

  • Excellent sales skills, lead development and qualification skills 
  • Experience in the email marketing industry in the past 2-3 years
  • Stable track record with 2+ years in each organization
  • BA/BS or equivalent

  • Generate new business opportunities through targeting accounts, cold calling and sending emails

  • Schedule next step meetings between field reps and Senior Execs at prospective accounts
