Best of the Best Wins with StrongMail’s Email Marketing Solutions

London, UK – 26th February 2009 – With over 250,000 weekly players, Best of the Best is one of UK’s largest supercar competition organisers. The company, whose prize fantasy cars can be seen in many of the UK’s airport lounges, has increased its email delivery rates and repeat business opportunities by switching to StrongMail On-Demand, a dedicated email marketing service offering higher performance and greater economy over traditional outsourced solutions.

Hosted by Rackspace, StrongMail’s On-Demand service has also cut the time taken to create email campaigns by about 40 per cent. Furthermore, because StrongMail’s proven email delivery system is available as a dedicated hosted service, Best of the Best has achieved these results without the need to make an up-front capital investment or deploy additional IT resources to manage and maintain the dedicated server.

Best of the Best, which has given away £8million worth of cars to 200 ‘spot the ball’ competition winners in the last six years, selected the StrongMail On-Demand service as an alternative to a traditional email service provider. This is because StrongMail provides more control over email timing and segmentation, allowing for more targeted and efficient campaigns. StrongMail also allows Best of the Best to design and send personalised emails based on customer participation history and preferences, which further improves customer responsiveness to campaigns. In addition, StrongMail automatically processes bounce-back emails and unsubscribe requests, which improves list hygiene and deliverability levels.

Richard Bewley, Online Marketing Manager for Best of the Best, was particularly enthusiastic about StrongMail’s Live Updates feature, which ensures Best of the Best’s emails meet changing ISP delivery requirements.
