WebEx Selects StrongMail to Power Marketing Email Delivery

Integration with marketing automation system provides enhanced visibility into delivery rates

REDWOOD SHORES, CA — February 8, 2006 — StrongMail Systems, Inc., the innovation leader in email infrastructure software, today announced that WebEx has selected StrongMail as its marketing email delivery platform. The new platform will integrate with the company's marketing automation system to provide visibility into the delivery rates of their marketing and transactional email.

As a sophisticated B2B marketer, WebEx leverages email for customer acquisition and retention through newsletters, triggered touch points and one-to-one marketing and transactional email. Its marketing department employs a complex lifecycle model, leveraging detailed analytics to provide customers and prospects with a custom-tailored experience. The success of WebEx marketing programs relies on accurate visibility into in-depth usage metrics at every stage of the customer lifecycle.

WebEx plans to use StrongMail's intelligent bounce processing to cleanse and optimize its database and continually increase its deliverability rates, while laying the technical groundwork for integration with reputation service providers. With StrongMail, WebEx can segregate its email by class using virtual IP addresses, and automatically embed headers into high-priority transactional emails to guarantee delivery.
