StrongMail Systems Expands Management Team to Support Rapid Growth
Former BEA Systems Executives to Head Sales and Client Services
Redwood City, Calif., June 21, 2006 — StrongMail Systems, Inc., the innovation leader in email infrastructure software, today announced two key additions to its management team in response to the company’s accelerated growth. Ken Paskins has joined the company as vice president of sales, and Paul Conley has joined as vice president of client services. Both gentlemen bring a wealth of enterprise infrastructure know-how to the company, and will play a key role in planning and executing the company’s growth strategy.

As the head of sales, Paskins will be responsible for driving overall sales revenues and sales strategy for the company. Most recently, Paskins led the worldwide OEM sales team for TIBCO Software. In this position, he generated TIBCO's highest revenue year ever and helped close some of the largest deals in the company's history for that division, resulting in 100 percent year over year revenue growth during his tenure. Prior to joining TIBCO, Paskins ran the ISV sales team at BEA Systems, managed several major accounts and closed two of the largest deals in the company’s history. He holds a BA in Organizational Communications with a minor in Industrial Psychology and International Business from Purdue University.
Conley is a 20-year veteran of the software industry, with extensive worldwide experience in customer support and software application development. He is responsible for leading StrongMail’s customer support, professional services and education services teams. Prior to joining StrongMail, Conley served as senior director of Worldwide Backline Operations at BEA Systems, where he ran an organization responsible for global backline support of BEA's entire product portfolio (an organization consisting of more than 100 engineers in 14 support centers worldwide). While at BEA, he transformed the company's ability to proactively support more than 15,000 customers worldwide. He holds an Honors degree in Computer Science from the University of Ottawa, Canada.
