StrongMail Systems Appoints Bill Wagner as Vice President of Marketing
Seasoned Executive to Lead Company's Aggressive Expansion in 2006
REDWOOD SHORES, CA — December 13, 2005 — StrongMail Systems, the innovation leader in email infrastructure software, today announced that Bill Wagner has joined the company as Vice President of Marketing. Wagner will be responsible for leading the company's aggressive expansion into new markets in the new year.
"Bill is a widely respected industry veteran who brings us broad knowledge and experience from the enterprise software industry," said Sam Cece, CEO of StrongMail Systems. "His demonstrated leadership and management abilities will be key to expanding StrongMail's business and strengthening the company's leadership position."
Wagner brings 15 years of management, marketing, product and operations experience with enterprise software companies to StrongMail Systems. Prior to joining StrongMail, Wagner served 10 years at BEA Systems in senior management positions where he helped take the company from startup to $1B in revenue.

Prior to BEA Systems, Wagner held management positions with other companies in the technology and aerospace sectors, including Novell, Unix Systems Laboratories and Smiths Industries where he had global product responsibility. Wagner holds a BS Degree in Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, and an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
