Developed to restore trust between commercial and non profit senders and individual email recipients, CertifiedEmail is available only to senders meeting strict standards for best email practices and low complaint rates. CertifiedEmail is the only system of its kind where messages are delivered with all links and images automatically rendered intact and presented to the recipient with a unique blue-ribbon icon, identifying the message as real and from a legitimate sender.

Sender Score Certified, formerly known as the Bonded Sender Program, is the most widely accepted whitelist available today for legitimate email senders. The program, from Return Path, Inc., is based on high reputation standards and gives marketers a way to warrant the quality of their email and improve deliverability. To qualify for Sender Score Certified, participants must meet a strict set of practices for sending commercial e-mail. In addition, once they are certified, senders undergo TRUSTe monitoring of compliance with program standards and complaint rates. If complaints rise above a certain limit, the sender can be removed from the Sender Score Certified program.
