Crazed email marketer seeks others

I love email marketing. Seriously, since 1997 I've been a crazed email marketing (nut) fan obsessed with maximizing the effectiveness of the channel and training others to realize its full potential. I've seen email marketing dramatically change marketing directions at Fortune 25 companies. I've seen email marketing become the mission critical/highest-sales generating channel at large web pureplays. Needless to say, when done right - email is money! When done wrong - email is a nightmare of technology issues, reputation problems, and angry customers all over the web and in-stores. It can be a galactic-sized mess.

This blog is going to address how to do email right. Whether for marketing, relationship messaging, or transactional messaging, we're going to look at email best practices and how they're executed successfully.
