Additional Spam Filtering Checks with StrongDelivery Tools

Here is the announcement from our partner Return Path about their additional tests that they have added to the Campaign Preview tools within StrongDelivery Tools:

Your wishes have been granted! We’re pleased to announce a number of new enhancements that we’ve made to Spam Filter Check. Over the last few weeks we've added two popular and influential spam filters, Cloudmark and Barracuda, and upgraded both Spam Assassin and IronPort.

1. Our two most requested spam filters, Cloudmark and Barracuda, have been added to Spam Filter Check, the Dashboard and Campaign Preview Alerts.

Cloudmark has become increasingly influential over the last several months and has proven to have a big impact on clients with large consumer lists. A partial list of ISPs using Cloudmark Authority are: Adelphia, Charter, Cox, Comcast, Earthlink, Swisscom, Tele2, Sprint/Nextel, Virgin Mobile, Bizanga and Critical Path.

Barracuda is the No. 1 most widely used spam filtering appliance used by more than 70,000 businesses in over 80 countries. This is a nice addition for our clients that are focused on B2B marketing. In the coming months we’ll be adding more B2B related filters, so stay tuned!

Just as a reminder, there are known issues that occur in the user interface when new filters are added. The percentage of spam filters passed metric will be artificially lower for campaigns that were run prior to the release. This will be apparent in three places: the dashboard, spam filter check results, and Campaign Preview email alerts. Also, the Spam Filter Check results for campaigns sent into the system before the release will display Cloudmark and Barracuda as a gray pass/fail status.

2. You already know how important Spam Assassin and Iron Port are, so we've made sure to upgrade both of these filters to ensure you are getting the most accurate and up to date information.

For more information and to see all of the new enhancements (such as an English UK dictionary option!) we continually make on your behalf, please check out the Learning Center blog. We will be regularly posting our product releases on the Learning Center Blog, so be sure to check back frequently.

As always, contact your Account Manager with any questions.

We love improving our products for you!

Best,
Return Path
