Return Path has updated the Outlook desktop filters with the newest set of spam filter heuristics provided by Microsoft. The Microsoft Office Outlook junk e-mail filter updates provide a more up-to-date definition of which e-mail messages Outlook considers junk. As a result, you may experience that some messages that used to pass the Outlook filters may now fail. While Microsoft does not give any details on the changes made to their filtering you can rest assured that your mail is now being assessed against the most current filtering rules used by Outlook.
